About

The team building Immuny

A small team out of the USC Marshall community, building the tool they wished existed.

Mackenzie Dennill

Founder

Mackenzie is a USC Marshall MSSE candidate with a background in acting and marketing. She has had allergies her whole life, and a Lone Star tick bite about seven years ago added Alpha-gal syndrome to the list. She started Immuny at a USC hackathon in August 2025, while tracking her own daughter's first foods in a notes app and losing the thread. Her daughter is 16 months old now.

Our mission

Give parents a calm, honest way to track first foods and the top 9 allergens, so they can walk into an allergist's office with a clear record instead of a guess.

The team

Immuny is four people. Mackenzie leads it. Charlotte Peng runs marketing and Marie Ma handles partnerships and investors, including the allergists we talk to. Both came out of the MSSE program with Mackenzie. Soorya Venkat builds the machine learning side, the part that lets a parent log a food by talking instead of typing.

Kappa Theta Pi, a USC consulting fraternity, built the first version of the app in January 2026. Luna co-founded Immuny and stepped back to advise while she finishes her undergrad. Advisors and mentors from the USC community back the team, and we will introduce more people here as they join.
